Our Story

At Scents Of Light Candle Co., our journey is one of resilience, love, and unwavering passion. Growing up, I was captivated by the warmth and comfort candles brought into a space, a love that followed me well into adulthood. In 2020, this passion turned into action as I began experimenting with making my own candles, honing my craft with dedication and care.

In 2022, I welcomed our beautiful son, Weston, into the world and became a stay-at-home mom, embracing this new chapter with joy. It was also the year my partner and I got engaged, dreaming of a future together as a family. By 2023, I felt a pull to share my candle-making passion with others and start a small business, something to help support our family while allowing me to stay close to our son. With excitement and love, we officially launched Scents Of Light Candle Co. in January 2024, eager to build a life around this shared vision.

Only two months later, our lives were turned upside down. I lost my fiancé, and our son lost his dad suddenly and unexpectedly. What began as a side project became our primary source of income. Not long after, our son was diagnosed as non-verbal with autism, making it even more essential for me to be home with him.

During this time of grief, our son and my business have been what kept me going. Pouring my heart and soul into each candle has allowed me to find healing, strength, and purpose. Scents Of Light is more than a business; it is a tribute to love, resilience, and finding light in the darkest moments.

Through each candle, I hope to bring warmth, comfort, and a little bit of light to others, the same light that has carried me through these challenging times. Thank you for supporting our story, our dreams, and our journey.
